Nine Wellbeing offers you an 8 session Panic Busting programme, to break you free you from the tyranny of panic attacks. In contrast to many NHS services, these sessions are held individually, rather than in a group setting. All sessions last one hour, and are based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), principles. CBT is an evidence based therapy for anxiety and panic. By undertaking this programme, you will:

 – Become Panic Prepared
 – Learn about the symptoms of anxiety, why these occur, and the difference between anxiety and panic attacks.
 – Discover the role that the brain plays in tricking us into survival safety mode.
 – Develop Thought Control
 – Understand what thoughts you are having and how these link to survival safety mode and panic attacks.
 – Learn to correctly interpret the content of your thoughts
 – Breeze by with Breath
 – Develop controlled breathing, and meditative and mindfulness techniques to override your automated survival safety mode.
 – Sidestep Safety Behaviours
 – You will learn how the things that you do to make you feel ‘safe’ aren’t very smart, and instead will drop these to develop new strategies that help you to cope.
 – Live fully again!
 – By engaging fully in the programme, and undertaking all between session activities, as agreed with your therapist, you will break free from the cycle of panic, giving you the confidence to fully live your life again.
 – Busting your panic with this programme will lead you to rediscover activities, situations and connections that you thought you had lost…. And possibly discover some new ones!
